I'd grab the .380, and my side by side and have a field day!

I'd be holding a Rem. 870 youth 20ga with 5 rounds of #6 shot full choke. This is my house gun. Out on the streets I'm carrying my S&W 9mm, 17 rounds in the gun, spare 16 round clip in the holster.

Gun? I'm going for my wakisashi sword! 2 feet of folded steel, razor sharp wielded by a half naked screaming angry homeowner ought to leave the intruder in a puddle on the floor (is the puddle red or yellow?) Besides I been training in the Budo for more than a decade, Iaido is my way. I'd have to undo the locks on the .45 or the Mossberg 12, this being Mass.
I can get my hand on the blade faster than on a gun grip. anybody uninvited might get sliced and diced (nothing quite like that Sogiri kata).

Long gun Berretta Semi Auto 12 gauge with Hornady TAP buckshot loads. Keep a bandoleer with the gun with various buckshot and slug loads. Pistol is a Berretta Storm 9mm with insight technology M3 ligt, 20rnd mags loaded with hand loads of Hornady XTP's.

Glock 23 with 14 180 Grain Hydrashoks. If time permitted I would also pocket my Taurus .357 with the 2" barrel. If the guy was really having trouble getting that door down I would get my 870 and fill it up with copper plated pheasant loads.
