Heres a scenario... You are in your house and here someone trying to kick in your door. You quickly run to your gun cabinet (or other hidden spot) and grab a gun. Which gun did you grab?

The first one I grab is my trusty side by side. She is a old Savage trimmed down to a nice and clean 18.5 inches. There is both 00 buck and slugs tucked into the sleeve on her stock. I would also grab my 1911 Taurus that is right next to her. She is packed with laser grips and 230 grains of .45 cal jacketed hydra-shocks. Hope I never need them but they are there in case!

I would grab a twelve gauge because most people who would break into a house knows you can get multiple high powered shots from a twelve gauge.

12 gauge pump with alternating double ought buck and brenneke slugs...I also carry the 12ga as personal bear protection when its salmon time, except that I use only slugs then...
