I have not, but I have a good friend who had the oppurtunity to shoot one about a year ago. According to him it didn't have the recoil he expected. I would imagine that is because of the overall weight of the beast. He told me it was super loud and it made one helluva hole in the tree he shot. Again, all second hand information, but from a fairly reliable source.

I shot the Barrett 50cal. before we deployed while training. In the clips it looks like it has alot of recoil but was not was I expected. Though the thing was load really load it was a joy to shoot. You could probably shoulder fire it if you were super strong but then again why would you want to. You would not be that accurate.

I shot a Barrett 50. A good rule of thumb. Use the Bi-pod that comes with the gun. It is not bad when you lay down to shoot. I have sholder fired mine and let me tell you it is not easy if you are trying to be accurate. This gun is heavy and if you are a small man, I would recomend to have friends there to video the whole thing because I would like a good laugh as well. Try it once. Just so you can say you did it.

Shot a buddy's Armalite AR50 (single-shot bolt gun)...amazing lack of recoil. One recommendation, though: don't have your mouth open if shooting prone, because the gas from the muzzle brake will give you a mouthful of whatever ground debris is between you and it. Didn't offhand it, too heavy and the rounds are too expensive and powerful to throw around w/o knowing where they're going.
