land is a valuable thing, an while it may seem low, it may go lower, but remeber the taxes that go with it...that is how people lose land, taxes.
i beg to differ buck, I wanted to buy some land this year and while it is in a known good area of mixed hunting, and the person(s) needed the money, they refused the offers...I keep watching though, it may be banked owned in 2011.

Land prices aren't decreasing in Ohio. In the last few years the Dutch have been buying up fairly sizeable tracts for huge dairy operations. (one has 7500 confined Holsteins) From what I've heard the Dutch consider our land a real bargain compared to Europe.
