Haven't heard of it, but what's the purpose? So it can't be reloaded? I wouldn't be surprised. With each of these bills passage they chip away at availability and affordability of ammo. Collectively they shut us down without outlawing guns, per say.

As a former member of the Air Forcer Shooting Team I can say this is nothing new, all items such and including cartridge brass is turned over to salvage to be sold as scrap. I wouldn’t get into a fizz over this; it’s rewording what has always been “SOP” or Standard Operating Procedure!

A new welcome page posted on Georgia Arms' website (www.georgia-arms.com) says simply "Due to new government regulations concerning the purchase of surplus brass, we are removing sales of all 223 and all 308 until further notice."

From there, it directs visitors to the government website for contacting elected representatives.

The DoD directive to have all brass scrapped instead of sold to ammunition re-manufacturers was rescinded today after complaints mainly from the two senators from Montana. This was another attempt to limit the amount of ammo available to the general public.
Obama said he wouldn't take our guns, but he never said anything about our ammo!
