How did buck fever feel the first time you got it?

For me i had been sitting in a warm blind the whole day, but as soon as that ten pointer dropped i felt like i had been sitting on an ice cube, shivering uncontrollably, waiting for dad to pick me up. What a feeling!

The first time I ever felt buck fever, I started shaking uncontrollably. I stood up and my knees literally started shaking and wobbling. I tried to get used to it, but first of all, you cant, and second of all, it is an addicting feeling.

I think the shaky knees and rapid bounding pulse are universal symptoms of buck fever. It's fun ain't it?

It was crazy. Big ol double brow tine. seen him early opening morning of bow season. Missed the shot so i felt bad about that since I had my brother with me, but ever since we seen that buck he's had the fever as well.

I have never felt like that before or again, it was unexplainable. I still get the shaky knees and my heart starts tring to jump out of my chest for every deer I see, but nothing has ever come close to the first time.

I had the bolt in my rifle open and it took me a good 5 seconds to get a cartrige in the chamber. I was shaking so bad that I think I closed my eyes when I squeezed the trigger! I thought I missed, because I couldn't see him through my scope, but he was piled up down the creek about 10 yards from where he was shot!

The dear came up over a hill which bliocked my view of it until it was 20 feet away. i pulled my string back and half took the shot. But it ran and i stopped just before i just. i took another shot as it ran full blast far away and i missed
