How did buck fever feel the first time you got it?

I had the bolt in my rifle open and it took me a good 5 seconds to get a cartrige in the chamber. I was shaking so bad that I think I closed my eyes when I squeezed the trigger! I thought I missed, because I couldn't see him through my scope, but he was piled up down the creek about 10 yards from where he was shot!

The fist time i shot at a buck i did not get it. The dear came up over a hill which bliocked my view of it until it was 20 feet away. i pulled my string back and half took the shot. But it ran and i stopped just before i just. i took another shot as it ran full blast far away and i missed
