Your best bet would be to find a local hunting dog trainer, get refer. on how they train, types they train and talk to people who've used them (good and bad). If none local try getting training vidios from Bass Pro,Cabellas, Etc. The really good ones might not be cheap but they do that for a living. Hope this helps some.

Get the dvd called Waterdog it is based on Richard Wolters training methods and is a good starting place for you. Cabelas and bass pro sell it for about 35 dollars. Then try to find a retriever club in your area. You can google them and look on the AKC site for them. I just bought a lab that is already trained but didn't know how to work her and my local club is helping me meet people to show me what I need. There mission statement says its purpose is to help people train there retrievers and they mean it.

I went to a hunting resort and asked the owner if I could get some wings from the birds that had been shot. Helps out until I can get a live bird.

Fawning season and "leaf" season pretty much coincide here. By the time does start dropping fawns, the trees and understory have leafed out...

How's your local herd doing? Around here I seldom see many fawns in May, but everything seems to be a couple-three weeks ahead of schedule and we'll...

              Better Lab.

I agree that it's hypocritical to get upset over Jan 6 but not the summer of 2020. There were differences though. Floyd riots...
