Yes, I was there sitting at the exit of turn four in the broiling sun. Decent race. The second caution really messed up the running order for quite a while with some of the teams never getting back on the lead lap. The track was hot and slippery. Most of the practice was done with cool, over cast skys and a little more grip in the track. Even Sunday morning the sky was gloomy and things were cool until about 11. Some of the teams couldn't find any grip, especially Dale Jr. I could read his right side numbers on most laps even before he passed my seat! Little Bush went 4 wide by himself several times while searching for grip. Even elder Bush adjusted the Blue Deuce on the wall. He had a really good car. No one had anything for him except Gordon and he couldn't hold the 2 off on long runs. Good to see a Dodge back in victory lane.

Yes guys I was there and I have the sunburn to prove it! My wife and I make the spring cup race and the one truck race each year. We live about 75 miles from the track. Atlanta is a great place to see a race. With the new road system around the track traffic is not nearly the problem it used to be and parking is easy.
