    Here's my humble opinion. If Wiley & his kin are a problem in your area, take 'em out with whatever you happen to be carrying at the time. The .22LR wouldn't be my weapon of choice, but a .22 mag is good.

            I would if its what I had but a 22 mag would be better. I think 100 yards would be a good distance. I think a 223 is the prefered preditor load

                Shooting at long range or better yet, mortaring rounds at long range is like playing baseball and being out in the deep outfield. The more you throw to home plate, the better you get!!!

                  I've seen em drop in their tracks at 100+ yds. Just gotta hit em right.

                    let er rip boys!! let the dogs loose!! let em have it with what you have,no matter how far they are. they just be that much more scared if you dont hit em. id just unload on em.

                      yup shoot it in the head at about 50-80 yards

                        id go with the 223. if I had to use the 22 id only prob shoot to 50yds

                              I shoot a .22 at around 100 yds or less and have never had problems
