    Food, water, and structure are the keys. Once you have that its only a matter of time until the doves move in. Its all about patience at this point.

    No, that actually makes since. They always sit on the power lines that are just outside of the field but close enough for them to see. Might as well try to get them to sit a little closer.

    I don't know the game laws in your area but starting with a food and water source sounds like the right direction. This might sound funny but I've always had success pulling doves into a field by running a rope or cable somewhere along the field in a few places. They like sitting on it over looking the field.

    We've always hunted "water" sources. Any near by your field ? If not try adding "stock tanks" they will bring them in too.
