My buddy's and I are heading out on our annual spring varmint hunting Safari in May. We usually go to the Southern Deserts of our State, but being as this is also one of my friend's Bachelor party (we prefer hunting over stripers, less trouble and more rewarding) we are thinking of heading out of state, either Montana, Wyoming, Utah, or Nevada. Any pro's and con's of these choices or suggestions. Mostly after Ground Squirrels, prairie dogs, rock chucks, Jack rabbits, etc.......Public ground, License requirements.........

Nope and wrong on the 6.5 Creedmoor. The Creed kills them just as dead as the .30-06, 25-06, and 270 but with much less recoil. I've used both the .30-06...
