In my town we just had a cold spell. Now it has warmed up and it is almost the end of the squirrel season and i was wondering if the squirrels are still active and if so what is a good techinque to fill my bag limit of squirrels?

good chance they will come out after a cold spell. This time of year that is likely to be mid-day.

Getting your limit is pretty tough in Feb. Just try to slip on them without making noise or letting them see movement.

well if you have a lot of snow where you live you can go under the white oak trees where all the deer have already dug it up, and the squirrels love that because they don't have to dig through all the snow to find the acorns
