I couldn't remember what year I got my first one. It was a Browning. My buddy that operated a gun store ordered it for me and it was put on backorder. I called Browning in Utah and the lady told me they wouldn't be in the US till June 1st. My buddy called me on May 10 and said he had my gun. The girl at Browning didn't even know that they were already in the US. I guess I was off a year, an old man like me has trouble remembering things that far back. When I went to the range it was quite a topic of discussion and guys wanted to shoot it. Again I think that I got my Sake A7 about 15 years ago. I had a Remington SPS 300WSM for a little while between the Browning and the Sake.

If you have a bear hunting story perhaps you'd like to share it in Big Game Hunting.
