    There is a flock of turkeys that visit one pasture once a year. I would like to frequent their visit by planting a food plot. 1. What should i plant? 2. Should i plant on the edge, or in the middle next to a small stand of trees? 3. How big?

    I should add i proably wont hunt it. It is for looking out the living room window. They are out there right now. Five strutters and a few dozen hens, I'm getting circles around my eyes from my glass.

      Turkeys love clover. Plant half an acre, at least, if you can, and they'll appreciate if the planting butts up against the woods so they'll have shade in the day.

          I used to have wheat in one of my plots, shot a turkey not too far from it and its stomach was full of it. So it could be worth a try

            A mixture of clover, chicory, and chufa is a good choice.
