I like to take my frog legs and soak them in lightly salted water for about 30 minutes. Then roll them in corn meal or flower and pepper. Then I fry them in a pan with grease. To me they taste like a combo of chicken and shrimp. Very good. My daughter loves them. I've also cooked them like a do fish. Soak in Itallian dressing for 24 hours then roll in corn meal and fry.

Be careful with how you transport and carry the gigs. Seem to remember poking one through some car trim. Was always afraid of tripping with one in hand, too.

There are plenty of recipes for bullfrogs, but carp are not worth eating. Killing them though is a favor for the waterways you fish in, as they compete with native fish for grub. Frog legs are good boiled and seasoned, or put in a gumbo-type soup. You will know a bullfrog when you see it; they are usually the size of saucers where I live, and bigger ones are the size of dinner plates. They are green with long legs and a deep croak. Or just google pictures.

Reply to Looking for a grain mill.by franchi20That's a neat speed reduction set up you have. Can you modify it to run 2 mills at once or move belts to run 1 at a time? Or a QD set-up to swap mill...
