Davycrockett, I have my uncle's copy (1948ish) of Jim Corbett's Man-Eaters of Kumaon. What a remarkable book and an even more remarkable man.Mr. Corbett will always be one of my Hero's. There is so much great reading you can find in those older books, and they are fun to look for too.

Ithaca, I can't believe some of the stuff that guy did! I don't know how he kept his bladder and bowels from spontaneously emptying on a daily basis. Absolutely amazing. If you haven't already, check out his others. I've read "The Temple Tiger" and "The Man-Eating Leopard of Rudraprayag". Riveting, to say the least.
