I know I am in middle of season, but i am looking into either hunting this area in late Dec or first of Jan. I have started with corn o see if deer are in the area. How often should I check camera just to get an idea that deer are in the area for me to hunt

I would almost guarentee this time of year, if you have any kind of deer density at all 50lbs of corn will be gone in three days. Id check the came and bring more corn every 5th day. Wear rubber boots. Id say if your putting corn out on a regular basis they will overlook a little scent as long as you dont directly bump them out of it. Try to go check your cams in the middle of the day. If you get a day where it is raining try to do it then. Remember to use the wind to your advantage while checking to. They will be hitting any food source with high carb content hard right now. Stock up on that corn!
