    I'm going to be hunting in Central Kansas in the first week of December. Any tips for apparel, calls, tactics, food, post-rut hunt, etc?

    Yessir, I live here and you definately should use some type of estrous. I used code blue doe estrus gel this weekend and we are still in the seeking and chasing phase but it worked well. You will have the chance to catch bucks coming to the estrous trying to pick up any does that did not take during the rut. Where are you planning on hunting? As far as camo are you going to be in a tree or on the ground? I wouldn't worry too much about food and would try to hunt crop fields. The wheat is starting to come up right now and should be prime in a couple of weeks. As far as calls I have had amazing success with the Primos Buck Roar for the past couple of years. Camo is camo, just use the wind to your benefit and bust a big one.
