Wherever there's sign! Many people make the mistake of just finding a spot in the woods and setting up. This sometimes works, but if you want to kill a big buck you have to scout, and find where the big boys hangout! I killed my largest deer in a field this year, but he was after a doe and not paying attention. That said, it depends. I see a lot of my bucks in hardwoods though, as most bucks like to stick to seclusion rather than being in the open. They'll go into open areas of course, but they'll stick to cover if given the chance.

well first is first you have to figure out if you even have big bucks on the property. first step, with 380 acres, id have an arsenal of trail cams strategically located at a few "gamey" spots. id leave these things out in august to find the deer, then have my stands hung and spots hammered down in mid september a few weeks before the season.
