what is the best bullet to shoot out of my 30-06. i hunt pretty heavily wooded areas in the mountains of pa. my shots are anywhere from 25 to 200 yards also i will be hunting deer and black bear

I like Hornady Interlocks. I shoot a 300WSM but I think you would like 165 grain Hornady Interlocks too. If you don't reload Hornady makes their Custom loads and the 30-06 is loaded with 165 Hornady Interlock bullets.

I also hunt PA and use 165 nosler partition not because I need all that they shoot very well in my rifle. Most bullets of 150 grains or better will do just fine.I have read many studies that brush bucking round nose bullets are a myth so give them no consideration. Remington federal winchester and others have good factory loads as do hornady. Hand loads the skies the limit, find what shoots the most accurate in your rifle.
