Anyone ever read any of John Randolph's writings? He was the longtime outdoors guy at the NY Times, way back. He's the king of self-deprecating humor in the outdoors, and I just ordered/received a book with a collection of his columns. An example of his stuff..."I aimed behind the deer's left shoulder, but I must have stepped in a hole or something because I hit him behind the left shoulder." Great stuff
