What is a good plant for small remote food plots? (If prefer that they are pretty shade tolerant) I've heard alot of good stuff about sugar beets and turnips. What would you guys recommend?

Clovers, clovers grow better than sugar beets and turnips if there is a drout. I would bet that there will be significant lack of moisture this summer so I would go with clovers and natural grasses. Try not to plant invasive species otherwise they will choke out the good native vegitation. It might work well for a while but will eventually start to not produce. Clovers are good for deer feed and can be found in many varieties.
