if it presents a threat yes, otherwise you'll scar any smart bird away for a good time

Have called many up but I'm usually too busy laughing at them when they discover they have been duped, and go through all sorts of contortions to get away!

          Won't risk scaring the birds.

Yes, I'd shoot the vermine. I've seen turkeys hang around for 15-20 minutes while the one I shot was on the ground dead right beside them.

Beekeeper, I've had the same happen with fox a lot. They literally flip out. And when they finally pull themselves together, man, they can move. wow.

Of corse I would I would much rather kill a coyote than a turkey. And you could just move to a different area.

Called one in deer hunting. He came in to my rattling. A dark, almost black one. Got a shot off but lost him in the swamp. Cool experience

Yeah. It would be as good as shooting a turkey.

I probably would. I'd rather it happen in the fall when they are worth a little bit more, but in the spring I might try and tan it myself.

I would. The one that I have seen came in really early in the morning while deer hunting and I let him pass thinking there might still be some deer in the area that would come through later. Looking back, I should have shot him. Looking forward, I will just shoot them.
