    I would much rather use a bow than anything else. I guess I just like the idea of the extra challenge, and the much longer season doesn't hurt either.

    Rifle number 1; bow a close number 2. I like hunting deer from long distance and getting the benefit of the accuracy work. However, I like the wildlife I see while being stealthy and the rush of waiting to get the deer in CLOSE with the bow. I don't like hunting with slugs, they are so slow and inaccurate compared to a good rifle that I just don't enjoy them as much. If I want to play that game, I use a bow.
