Scope most of the time for the visibility and accuracy; open sights for dangerous game and really thick brush so I can acquire a fast moving target fast.

Open sights never break or need a change of batteries. If they break, you need to be nicer to your gun.

Depends on gun, I like scopes on my whitetail guns, and open sights for small game.

Instead of growing up shooting rats at some garbage dump with a 22, I grew up in the west shooting 06 with a 3x9 scope busting Jacks and Yoodle Dogs, so my answer to you is, what can you shoot best with? My wife is outright deadly with her Wolverine 50 cal MZ with a Tasco Red Dot on it!

Depends on what and where I am hunting. Reddot for squirrels. Scope for whitetails. Opensights (or reddot) for turkey.

I like to use open sites since most of the area I hunt it would be to difficult to use a scope.
