Has anybody used those Lumi-Nok lights? DO you like them and are they beneficail(stay light?) in recovering your game? Do they add weight to the rear of your arrow?

I ordered some, I could not wait to use them and see how they light up. But when I put them in my carbon express arrows only 1 of them ended up working. I called about this and I was told, I may need to change the batteries. I cut my losses, and I used the only one that work during the season. It stayed light in flight but went out when it hit. I will not waste my money on them again.

I made some of my own and they worked great for a few shots, and then broke, I will buy the real thing from now on. I think being able to see where your shot hits is a huge advantage.

I've been using them for the past 6 months. The weight they add is minimal. I shot a buck with one this year, and don't remember seeing the nock, I don't think it lit, but i did easily see the arrow hit and pass through. Practice shooting they work well. If you're going to use them buy a few.

We came down to south Texas to spend a few days with the youngest.
We helped assemble a chicken house/run.

Trophy class males (bull) can run 600 to 700 pounds.
They are quite tasty. One of the kid's work mates donated some steaks to us.
