I have a Bushnell mounted on my bow and at full draw I can still use it, I like it!

My buddy's got a Leica that I'm reallly impressed with, but I rarely need to range anything over 100yds. They don't give those things away though. The Nikons are great and for a quarter to half the the price.

I prefer my Lieca to my brothers Bushnel.
But their not in the same price range.

Nikon hands down! I own a Monarch 800, its fast. accurate and clear. I had Leupold RX-II and it sucked! It wouldn't range after about 3 months of having it. Many of the retailers had problems with them, Scheel's and Cabela's (look at the reviews of Leupold Rangefinders, and they stink). Leica's are nice, but too expensive for me, personally.

I like Nikon.... but if you are into archery, make sure to get the angle compensator

Have a busnells with the ARC. Just like FLHunter said, if your archery hunting the angle compensator is priceless. Would have never thought that there was that much different on some of the angles you might take.

I agree with rezavoirdog. Nikons are great and I am also not a huge fan of Leupold.

That is all that is required for hunting as far as I'm concerned. Practice can speed it up a bit but doing it right gets it done pretty fast. Little things...
