    I leave the IC in year round, usually throwing #4 Xperts. When they have the landing gears down in the dekes they aren't tough to kill.

    For all-around use, I like #4 Hevi-Shot in a modified choke.

    Over decoyz, Hevi-Shot 12 ga 3" #6 @ 1550 fps and Imp Cyl izza bout it. See Dawg n Dux in mah photos.

    ive used anything from #4 to #2 shot in black cloud ammunition and have had very good success. as for chokes I change them out according to cover, setup, and decoys to try to predict what range birds will be flying in to. However, it would not be unwise to maintain the ability to reach out to a longer distance. Some birds might take a few more pellets than they needed but in my opinion there is not a huge difference between dead and more dead
