Imcolty, I don't know much about Ohio waterfowl but you do have an awesome monster whitetail deer in your state.

Colty, there is a very good population of ducks and geese in Ohio. Keep in mind it isn't going to be a shoot fest like you see on TV but the numbers are here. There is also a diverse population from mallards, woodies, teal, blacks, etc... 2012-2013 season I got my 1st wood duck and it was a double! Last year I think I seen more wood ducks than mallards. If you're thinking of waterfowl hunting here the later in the season the better. When all the ponds freeze up the ducks take to the river and you can have some awesome mornings.
