I've only been a couple of times, but buddys like teh "T" shot.

I use the lower end Remington steel 3.5 inch BB with 1-3/8 ounces of shot at 1550 fps. Works pretty well to about 50 yards.

BBs or BBBs, depends on how you hunt them. If you are actually calling with decoys then the BBs will work if you are only taking pass over shots then bigger. It takes a lot to kill a goose they get about as big as turkey and you are handicapped with steel so go big!

I use 3" winchester BB's when I'm field hunting over decoys, but when I go on the river I use 3" BBB's because most shots are pass overs.

When I am hunting over decoys I will use Winchester Supreme 3" BBs. If I am pass shooting I will use Black Cloud 3" BBs. I shoot both out of a Briley IM choke. The Winchesters pattern great out to about 30 yards, hence hunting them over decoys, before it starts getting spotty and the Black Cloud will put an average of 17 pellets in the 10" circle at 45 yards, which makes them better for the longer range pass shooting.

7.5 shot is way too small, 2 is the lowest shot size I would use, geese are tough birds to kill.

i would say 3 inch expert loads its what i use and knocks them down wokrs great.
