does anbody know if the ithacagun featherlight needs a choke tube for turkeys

    If they do not make a specialy turkey choke, I would say go with a full and if they don't have that, then I guess a modified would work. Just keep your shooting distance down and you should be okay.

    You don't always have to fall into the mentality that says you must do this to do that. Plenty of hunters have killed turkeys before the advent of the ultra tight chokes. Your best bet is to pattern your gun and see where it is capable of. That is what matters.

    If your gun has choke tubes I'd go with full choke. Most Ithacas I have seen are modified choke and should be fine for birds up to 30 yards.
