I have always been interest in hunting desert sheep (bighorn?) I am curious if anybody has hunted them or knows anything about it.

All I can tell you is that you are probably never going to draw a tag. I know numerous hunters who have 3 of the 4 for the Grand Slam and have either got to old to hunt or simply gave up on the desert. Sorry to be discouraging. Who knows maybe you are one of the lucky guys.

I beleive you either have to be lucky or rich. If you are young start putting in. My grandpa just finished his grand slam several years ago and he went in Nevada near Las Vegas. They are tough to hunt because it's a lot of scouting scouting and more scouting. They blend in really well. He said they are fun to hunt though. So hope you get lucky. I put in for Bighorn this year for the first time and got drawn with a .4% chance so anything can happen.
