Shoot a rabbit, skin it, out it on a flexible rod or stick, tie a long piece of string to it, and pull the string.

I just use a rabbit pelt on a stick driven into the ground, and run a line to my setup so I can make it twitch. It's cheap and effective.

For a cheap decoy, I have used one of those weasle toys that look like some kind of critter playing with a ball. You can buy them at Cracker Barrel. Stick one of those in an upside down brown or black frisbee and you have a motion decoy for about $10.

Mojo makes a good product but you don't necessarily need one. I am new to predator hunting but the guy I go with is a veteran. He has the mojo critter and says it works well for him.

I don't use one. They come to the sound so that works fine with me since I use a rifle and can reach them out to 30 yards. The Mojo critter looks good to me. Just make sure it doesn't make a weird sound that spooks them.
