    I use to guide for them in NE Colorado, we use to find them all the time. Kind of a different texture, pretty cool.

    like the other answers, yes. the bucks usually drop their horns well before Thanksgiving up here in MT. because they are comprised of hair, they deteriorate quickly and are popular with bugs and rodents.

    Pronghorn antelope do shed their horn shells every year and grow new ones, so shed hunters may find the black, hollow, fibrous horn sheaths when out antler hunting.
