    As far as I know, this is a pump-action shotgun. I fail to interpret the word "bolt".

      in sid the reciever the fireiing pin is on a bolt this is the case for most shotguns

        Owning a # of model12s I can tell you that it most likely be easy, you can try to tap out the reciver pins but I would rather take it to a competant gunsmith if I were you. the things are prety tricky but they last forever.

            I just ordered a disassembly/assembly manual.from Midway. About $13, including postage. Hint: I have been studying the parts diagrams and disassembly instructions online. The manual is supposed to include helpful tips on how to do it. I saw somewhere on this site that a gunsmith will do this and clean it for $30. But you should clean it several times per season, so you might as well learn how.
