Big O, I'm with you! I got one of the old schoold 835's with woodland cammo that I've put thousands of shells through in the woods and on the trap, skeet and sporting clays. I used to have a Browning O/U sporting that I used when I did that stuff more often but I always played with the 835 out there too. I've never had one single issue with this gun no matter what I put through it. Not that the Remingtons, Benellis and Brownings aren't great guns. Why switch up when what I've got works for everything I do now. Not that I won't ever get another shotgun.

870 Wingmaster is my pick. Also Winchester and Benelli make a fine guns. The Wingmaster is cheaper, looks better and performs better though. I have had mine for 3 years and it has never let me down. Also I have friends that have had them for 15+ years and their still blasting birds out of the air like they were right out of the box. Don't get a Mossberg 500, they work well at 1st but the performance goes down fast.

Reply to Changing it ypby jhjimboWhy a 6.5-300? At $5 that is expensive to even sight in. My .340 does not cost that much. If I had the components I think I would put them together....
