Well here we go again and again I vote for the Benelli's because the Beretta's are always too dirty, some part has come off, or whatever. I just keep on shooting the Benelli's and give them little support in the way of cleaning. There are better guns to look at but for autos the Benelli's have not failed me for over ten years of hard use. If I was pumping it would be an 870, how can you go wrong there.

Just about any shotgun that fits properly and shoots reliably. This is a tough question because you need to choose what you are using it for. As an all around reliable, a good pump in 12 gauge, would be a good choice. I myself prefer my old Winchester 1887 Lever Action in 12Ga 2-3/4" because its solid, heavy, reliable, and accurate.
