I have a double barrel shotgun that I got for cleaning out a basement. I don't know much about it and it is in pretty rough shape. The stock is broken off and it is quite rusty from being in the dampness of the basement. I think it could be cleaned up to look OK and I would like to replace the stock, but I don't know where to find one or how much it would cost. Nor, do I know what the gun is worth. It is a side by side and on one of the barrels it say "Armas 'GIB' - Eibar - MADE IN SPAIN" When you break down the gun, under the barrels where you would put in the shells, it say "Guage 10-89" and the model # is 3200. Its has very ornate scrolling over the most of the metal, except for the barrels. My question to you is- What caliber is this? How much would a new stock cost? And what is this gun worth? Thanks, A.J.

I have heard they are a decent gun as for the gauge I would take it to a gunsmith and they measure the chamber for you and tell you what gauge it is, how much do you like the gun because stock work has got pretty pricey if you do decide to do it I would contact Conneticutt shotguns.

Good article on pressure testing. It takes about 40 hours to test for one caliber and bullet weight with about 16 types of powder.
