yes, Just pop in a cylindeer or improved cylinder choke and have at it. If you really wanted to, you could pick up some of the truglo rifled sight that clip on the rib. They're made for turkey but will work fine for your purposes too. And yes you can hunt deer just fine with that. Good luck, Nick
