    I'd assume corrosive or semi-corrosive and scrub with soap accordingly. It can't hurt, after all.

    I do believe that M2 ball is 150 (151?) grain FMJ.

    The CMP stuff can be from a variety of sources. Some of it can have the "semi-corrosive" primers.

    I was told that the main thing to do was to run a soapy patch several times down the bore after shooting.

    Others, of course, may have a different or better prevention method.
