              Marlin 39A - known as "a grown man's .22".
The Marlin M60 has been hailed as the most accruate "out of the box" .22 on the market due to it's Micro-Groove® rifling.
The 39A also has the same rifling!
The 39A will handle short, long and long rifle ammo including "rat shot" ammo.

I have to go with the ruger 10/22. Yeah, there are other guns that are better for individual purposes but the 10/22 is just fun!

I've got an old cheap Marlin automatic that I have put countless rounds through. Still functions well and still is fairly accurate.

Winchester 62 or 62A, closly followed by the Remington Nylon 66 (toughest .22 auto ever made)and the most accurate .22 I have ever seen, held or shot is the Kimber Hunter.
