99, I have the S&W 36 with bobbed hammer that I think I have sent a picture in to 'Gun Fight'

The Smith & Wesson "J" frame revolvers vs the Colt Detective Special line. The S&W "K" frame snubby is also in the running.

I'd like to see goose guns. Or anything waterfowl. I have a brush gun that I should submit too. But I've had my share of the competition already. Some of you other guys need to get your guns & stories sent in too.

I'd just as soon you drop the Mr. stuff. Just a plain ol Bubba will suffice.

Yes Mr. Firstbubba it's a poor workmen that blames his tools. Wells/Walls was my bad. Still a good comparison.

Yes, you're right, and that's a good one on me. I just said the first two BB gun names that came to mind. That's what happens when you try too hard to be funny. (Now, just to punish me, Dave Petzal probably WILL do a BB gun Gunfight.)

Matt, If I am not mistaken, doesn't Daisy make the Red Ryder BB Gun?

Don't know if your computer "corrected" you, but that was "Adobe Walls".
It was a buff hunters trading post made of adobe, or maybe a "soddy".
Best of my recollection, the shot was in the neighborhood of 1760 yards(1 mile), was witnessed by several other hunters and supposedly was the "one shot" that finally broke the Comanche Nation.
Lore has it Dixon didn't think he could make the shot, but history proved otherwise!
Regardless of Walls or Wells, still a fantastic story!

I would like to see "One Shot Wonders". Single shot rifles no matter their propellant. Like FB suggested maybe old against the new. Let us not forget Billy Dixon [one of the few civilian Medal of Honor recipients] and the Battle of Adobe Wells. A verified long shot that stood for decades.
