    Consider this.... you could manage your entire hunting and shooting career with an all round big game center fire rifle, a rim fire rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader and a pistol for self defense. What would you choose to fill these roles? Brands? Calibers? Models?

    My picks would be Ruger M77 .30-06, Ruger 10/22 .22lr, Remington 870 12 gauge, T/C Omega .50 cal. Muzzleloader and Glock 23 .40 cal.

        Centerfire Rifle: A custom rifle with Savage action, a Krieger barrel and pillar and glass bedded laminated wood stock in .30-06 with a Leupold VX-6 3-18x44
        Rimfire rifle: A Marlin 60
        Shotgun: Mossberg 500
        Muzzleloader: I don't really know not being a muzzleloader guy, but I guess I'd go with the LHR Sporting Arms Redemption.
        Pistol: Wilson Combat 1911 .45 ACP

                  H&R 700 .22 magnum
                  for shotgun, my ranger model 30 20 gauge. it has killed everything from deer, to turkeys, to small game.

                    pretty much what i have right now. .300 weatherby mark V accumark. .22 henry lever action. 12 gauge beretta a400 xplor unico. .50 cal T/C Omega. and to end it my carry gun, a glock 23.

                      Rifle - Rem 700 all-weather in .280
                      Rimfire - THE Ruger 10-22
                      Shotgun - Rem 870
                      Not a muzzle loader guy but from what I hear, the T/C Omega is a pretty safe bet.
                      Pistol - Springfield XDm 4.5 in 9mm.
