Does anyone know why people are blowing up their savage smokeless muzzle loaders, I bought one last year and never had a problem. Was thinking people might not know how to measure powder correctly.

I would stick to black powder - not worth it.

Seen that pic when looking around pretty nerve racking, shot it a few times with smokeless before I heard about it blowing up. The gun is amazingly accurate but don't want to have one of them incidents, just is not worth the risk.

That's pretty nasty looking. And definitely not worth the risk.
