Due to a limited area. The only range I could find was 50 yds. I have a new T/C Triumph muzzleloader with a Leupold 2-7 x 33 vx-1. The gun is sighted in dead on @ 50 yds. What adjustments would I need to make if presented with a 120-125 shot. High, low or still right on.?

You are going to have to hold over, but how much is hard to say. It depends on your load, velocity and weight of bullet. If you know the velocity, you might try the Hornady Ballistics software and see what the trajectory looks like. Go to Hornady.Com.

If you'll shoot about 1/2" high at 50 yards, out to about 150 yards, hold dead on.
Should keep you within 3" of point of aim. That will kill a deer.

You need to aim high. It is hard to say exactly how much but I would guess somewhere around 1 inch.

You will need to get about 70-75 yds closer
My point being that you should know where your gun hits not take internet posts made without load or bullet info as a source for ballistics.
If you absolutely can't swing a spot to shoot at longer ranges at least go to ballistics tables or calculators that will give you a good guess. You can plug in load info and at least get a reasonable sense of what your ballistics would be.

How can every time I go to post a link to something like Hornady Ballistics Calculator the website says "posts may not contain obscene words". When was the last time you saw a ballistics calculator with "obscene words"?

When you post a link, you've got to do away with the http and slash and colon.
Simply start with the www dot.
The obscene word thing has been going on a long time around here! LOL!

you would need to shoot high. But depending on how high you need to shoot is really hard to say

I shoot a Knight D.I.S.K. 50 caliber muzzle loader, use two 50 grain pyrodex chunks and 44 mag sabot bullets.
At dead center 45 yards the bullet is still climbing.
At 70 yards it hits on average 1.5" to 2" high.
Between 100 to 120 yards I hold direct point of aim.
When I first began hunting with this rifle and this load.... I held high.
Took out the low side of the spine (hate ruining those backstraps).
Bullet weight and powder type make a world of difference with black powder.
