    30-40 Krag - like a fine tuned jewel.

    .303 British - like something you would cobble together in your garage.

    Both get the intended job done, no doubt about that.

      I think there is a greater chance of something going wrong with the Krag than with the Enfield.
      However for hunting I would say both would work admirably for the purpose.
