Im thinking about getting a 17hmr. What do you guys who have one think of it? And what can/do you guys hunt with it? Thanks

    Just wanted to let you know I use the little 17 on turkeys and it works great. You might give it a chance on one of your future hunts.

      I have taken coyote out to 125 yards with head shots. I have seen hogs taken in Texas from a treestand at around 35 yards. It dropped right where it stood. not for everybody, but it does have power when used right.

        IND_NRA,
        My .22 Hornet is my favorite and on 20 pound gobblers does such a good job I just can't justify using the .17.
