With Winchester coming out with the 17super magnum rimfire would it not be the time to introduce a 20 cal supermag rimfire?

    .204 Ruger?

Not big enough for "large" (beyond 'yote size!) game, no good for small game you want to eat! Very narrow window of applications.
I'm gonna hafta pretty much agree with WAM.
If you like 'em? Fine. The old standby long rifle fills my needs just fine.

I guess I don't see the need for a 20 super mag or whatever. I think Treestand is correct on the 204 Ruger has it covered.

Dumb concept. rimfire , super, and magnum are mutually exclusive terms.

I love the 204 Ruger and believe the 5mm was ahead of its time, but on the east coast rimfires may be are only option. 200 yard rimfire!!!!

That is a very good question. Problem with that issue is the past. The 5mm remington mag, it never eally had an audience and thus failed and was dropped from production after only 4 years. ammo was discountinued around 1980 or so.Another round that never caught on. Thus far the only .20 cal that has made it so far is the .204 ruger with exception to wildcats like the VarTarg & .20 tactical some guys have fooled with the .20/.222 with success. The ruger fills the bill in the 5mm class I would think at about the same cost in ammo too
