    Have in the past. KO's and Tru-ball slugs were pretty good out to about 75 yards, if you can shoot that well. Deer dropped right where they stood with both slugs.Have since went a different direction with rifled sights and smooth bore and 20" barrel. I mainly bow hunt but shoot quit a bit of slugs through all types of shotguns.

      I used to, but never shot at a deer when I did, not from misstrust in the equipment or myself but do to not seeing a deer to shoot at. that being said i Have since purchased (around 140 bucks at the time tho this was about 10 years ago) a cantiliverd rifled slug barrel so as I could mount a scope and swap barrels without haveing to rezero. and also the added accuracy of hunting with sabots.
