Is it possible to have a single AR-15 lower assembly that will receive both a .450 bushmaster upper and a 5.56 NATO upper? Thinking about using the .450 Bushmaster for deer and larger game and the 5.56 for coyote eradication (not too concerned about pelt quality). I'd like to get a single lower for both uppers but don't know if that's possible. Doing my part to form a part of the armed citizenry acting as a bulwark against tyranny would be an added bonus.

Yes, My bushmaster 450 is capable of this.

As far as I know, all AR lowers are capable of this.

One of the beauties of the AR platform that bolt action platforms are just now trying to perfect and offer.
